DAV Public School, Pokhariput celebrated Literacy Week with great enthusiasm and participation from students and teachers. The week-long celebration aimed to promote the importance of reading, writing and effective communication while encouraging students to develop a lifelong love for books and learning.

s part of the Literacy Week celebration, DAV Public School, Pokhariput organised an insightful Panel Discussion with eminent authors and distinguished guests on the theme of “Literacy and Bridging the Gap between School and Society.”

A special highlight of the Literacy Week celebration was the publishing of books authored by our young budding writers. The initiative provided students with a wonderful platform to transform their imagination, ideas and experiences into published works.

As part of Literacy Week, students of our school presented an engaging skit highlighting the importance and power of literacy. Through their performance, they conveyed how literacy promotes knowledge, confidence, awareness and better opportunities. The skit was both informative and entertaining, leaving the audience with a meaningful message about the value of education and reading.
