The vision of our school library is to become an integral part of the school community and to provide a wide variety of resources and services to enhance students and teachers learning.

Our Resource Centre
The library is open every school day from 10 a.m. to 06 p.m.
Our library is today recognized as one of the premier school libraries incorporation the latest technological innovations to make it user friendly and eminently accessible.
It plays a key role in the cultural and social life of the school.
It is the central point for engagement with all kinds of reading, cultural activities, access to information, knowledge building, deep thinking and lively discussion.
It has a well equipped, comfortably furnished and has airy, spacious and well lit interiors.
It follows open access system. This system allows any student/staff to choose any book they like from the shelf.

No food or Drink should be consumed in the Library.
Maintain silence in the Library.
Students are allowed to use the library in their respective library periods. They can also use the library in Zero Period as well as after the school gets over. They may consult the Library in any other period if they have their Supervisory Head's / Teacher's written permission.
Students of class VII to IX will get one book while students of class X to XII can borrow two books at the same time from the library for seven days.
Students are not allowed to bring their personal books inside the Library.
Students may issue the books in their Library Periods, Zero Periods and one hour after the school gets over.
Students are required to check the books at the time of getting them issued. Any damage, if any, should be reported immediately. In case of loss/damage of the issued book, the students have to pay the cost as well as fine on the book in question.
If renewing a book, students must have the book with them to renew. Book may be renewed only twice. No renewal is given if other member has reserved for the same book.

Other school magazines
According to the school time table, the students of Class V-X can visit the library for the issue and return of the books during their library periods. The student of class XI-XII can visit any time in between library timing.They can read reference books, periodicals, magazines and e-books during this time and also participate in library activities.
02 books for a period of 01 week, if they want for more days they can renew for another 7 days.The users should bring their ID cards for the Check-in and Check-Out of books.

Maximum 05 books for a period of 01 month.The users should bring their ID cards for the Check-in and Check-Out of books.
Junior library is functioning for class I-IV,
classification scheme used
The library follows an open access system. The books are classified and shelved according to the Dewey Decimal Classification(Ed.23). Every book is barcoded and spine labels are attached.
The stock and services of the library has been automated with ivy-edu 4.0ERP, an Integrated Library Management software. Book search, Book reservation, book transaction history, facilities given to students/parents through parents/students login ID.
